From August 18 to 20, Rio de Janeiro hosted the 20th edition of Navalshore, considered the largest maritime industry exhibition and conference in Latin America. Held at ExpoRio Cidade Nova, this year’s edition took place at a special moment for the sector: a cycle of renewed investment in the Brazilian shipbuilding industry, driven by pre-salt projects and deepwater operations. And Loquen was there, with one of the largest booths at the event, to show that we are here to stay.
A booth that never stopped
During the three days of the event, our booth was packed. We welcomed visitors from dozens of companies in the naval, offshore, and oil and gas sectors, with a constant flow of conversations, negotiations, and new contacts. Having a large space at an event the size of Navalshore made all the difference: it gave us the structure to comfortably welcome this volume of visitors, present our complete portfolio side by side, and conduct technical and institutional meetings without stopping.
With the information totem, visitors were able to learn more about Loquen equipment.
The equipment as the protagonists
Instead of using only illustrative elements, we decided to make our own equipment part of the booth’s setting. Fenders, mooring systems, hoists, and forgings were available to visitors, who could see up close — and touch — the details that make the difference: the galvanizing process that ensures resistance to the offshore environment, the finishes, and the robustness designed for highly demanding operations. Showing the actual product, rather than just photos or banners, reinforced in a much more concrete way the differentiators we seek to communicate.
An increasingly global Loquen
Navalshore 2026 was also a stage for reinforcing our international expansion. Today, Loquen is present in:
● Macaé, RJ, Brazil — Rua Lady Esteves da Conceição, 720, Vale Encantado (with a new base under construction in the city)
● Rotterdam, Netherlands — Overwegwachter 4, 3034KG
● Shanghai, China — Building 1, No. 57, Fuxing West Road, Xuhui District
● Montevideo, Uruguay — Constituyente 1467, ZIP 11.200
● Houston, Texas, USA — our newest office
From Brazil to the world, each new base reinforces the same commitment: to be close to those who need agility, technical support, and reliable equipment, in any time zone.
Manufacturing, selling, and renting: Loquen for every need
One point we made sure to make clear at the exhibition is that Loquen goes beyond manufacturing. We are manufacturers, but we also sell and rent our equipment, giving our customers the flexibility to choose the model that best fits each project — whether it is a one-time operation or a recurring need.
Certification and trust in every detail
Our equipment is developed with a focus on the offshore sector, but its robustness makes it suitable for any industrial segment that requires safety and high performance. This is only possible thanks to our ongoing commitment to international equipment certification and the company’s DNV certification — a seal that attests to the quality of our processes and reinforces the trust of those who work with Loquen.
This commitment does not stop at equipment delivery. Behind every operation, we maintain 24/7 service, with specialists on standby to support customers anywhere in the world, at any time.
The future is now
Navalshore 2026 confirmed what we had already been feeling: the naval and offshore sector is experiencing a new cycle of growth, and Loquen is ready to keep pace — with innovation, certification, and an increasingly global presence.
Loquen: from Brazil to the world, bringing quality, innovation, and trust.
